Delivery Methodology

How We Deliver

From Architecture Review Boards to cloud migration, AI governance to PCI compliance: an overview of how Vaderaa Consulting builds architecture capability and assures critical programmes.

01

Building What Didn't Exist

The defining characteristic of our practice is being engaged to build architecture capability where it does not yet exist: the team, the governance, the standards, and the culture that allow technology to be delivered consistently at scale.

National Transport Authority 2019 to Present

Enterprise architecture function built from scratch; ARB, design standards, and cloud governance now run by an established internal team.

Abtran 2003 to 2017

Rose from developer to Chief Architect over 14 years; built the first formal architecture team and established cloud-first strategy.

ShockVoyce 2018 to 2019

Interim CIO; established technology governance and cloud delivery capability.

Wrendata 2018 to 2019

Built technical delivery processes and developed the team to support commercial growth.

02

Leading Architecture & Governance

Taking hands-on architectural ownership of complex, multi-supplier technology programmes in regulated sectors where delivery discipline is non-negotiable.

Bord Gáis Energy — I-SEM Programme 2017 to 2018

Tech Lead and Solution Architect for Day 1 Go-Live of Ireland's all-island electricity market, coordinating 300+ integration points across trading, settlements, and SAP ERP.

Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) 2020 to Present

Independent AI governance and technical architecture review for Flo mCPD medical education platform, establishing clinical safety and AI governance frameworks.

03

Where We're Headed — AI & Architecture

AI is not a separate discipline from enterprise architecture. It is becoming part of the fabric of how organisations design, govern, and operate their systems. The skills that matter are already familiar: defining governance frameworks, setting design standards, assuring that what gets built meets the bar, and providing independent oversight.

Our practice is adapting to meet this. We are already working at the intersection of AI deployment and architecture governance, both at the NTA and through our healthcare AI work with RCSI. Organisations that establish the right architectural foundations for AI now will have a significant advantage over those that try to govern it retrospectively.
